Kathryn DiLego makes ‘loosey-goosey line drawings’ & ‘lanky-clanky screenprints’ and I love them. Her work excites me, and you can have a slice of it yourself. See her Etsy shop here and have fun!

Present and Correct
When I was young my mum used to save up 50p each week for my spends for when we went on holiday. The night before we went on our jollies she’d sit me down and give me the money she had saved. I’d give her a hug then jump to the floor with glee and count it all, again and again. Probably around £15 or so but a lot to a little person. A lot to my mum too.
That night I couldn’t sleep with the anticipation of our holiday and the thought of what to buy with my spends. I’d be dreaming of a new pencil case, ooh or a new notebook with matching pencils (I liked matching stationary at the time, very particular you see). It was always about stationary though, always. Which explained my childlike giddiness when I came across this gorgeous website for papergoods and stationary. It’s called Present and Correct and I adore it with all my heart…

Mr Postman
I was first introduced to Joules by my matey over at Folly and Bloom. I’ve never actually bought anything from there but admired the shop in Ilkley with its vintage displays and gorgeous colours. Anyhoo, Mr Posty delivered their magazine today and I have fallen truly in love. You know when you ADORE everything on each page? Well that’s me. Plus I’ve spotted some perfect boots, that wont break the bank that are perfect for prancing around in Hebden Bridge (bottom of page). Take a looksy!
The colours, the style, the everything. Joules I ♥ you.
Those boots are just gorgeous…*counts pennies*. So lovely in fact I have to show you them again…

Monday smiles…gnome candles!
Monday is here and I’m prepared for a dingy, grey and rainy day, it’s not gonna get in my way! I’m thinking of bright colours, and happy things only! Whilst browsing on Rice, I picked up my shopping basket and went for a make-believe shop. So many things to drool over…enjoy!

Happy
I went for a bike ride the other day on now what seems to be the last day of Summer. It was one of those days when you realise it doesn’t take much to be happy. An open road, sun shining, camera in my bag and a bag full of blackberries! I came back all energised and ready to cook up a treat!
Here’s some pics of my wee trip…
The chicken made me laugh. It chased my bike and when I stopped to take a photo, it stopped, took one look at me then ran off!
If the weather holds out I might go again this weekend and do some more foraging and make a crumble…just have to remember not to wear yellow, the insects out there loved me!
Have a great weekend everyone ♥
