It’s never a good idea to stumble upon a brand that you love and want to buy into when you are broke. In fact it’s probably best to avoid the internet altogether; which is why I unsubscribe from shop email alerts every week. But I can honestly say, at the moment, I don’t mind window (couch) shopping. Firstly, it makes me realise whether I really want something or not. Give it a month or two and if I still like the item (and have money) then I know it’s a keeper. Secondly, the item(s) might have been reduced, joy!
Aubin & Wills (yup, I’m always late to the party) has seduced me a little – OK maybe a lot. Not only producing beautiful clothing for the Mesdames et Messieurs but incorporating a gallery and cinema into their brand. Did I mention when I was younger, apart from wanting to be a lighthouse keeper, I wanted to own my own cinema? Ah, yes.
Anyhoo, take a look at the Spring shoot, eep! Firstly, I want ALL her clothes and secondly I want her hair (Irina Lazareanu). That is all. Oh and did I mention Alex James models for them too…swoonathon.
