Christmas! (and a post of the week!)

I’ve launched Christmas in our house. Yes. I . Have. I’ve wanted to mention the ‘C’ word in the house for a long while but know it annoys the other half (and everyone else I know). Alas, November is here and it’s everywhere, hurrah!

There’s no ‘easing in’ to Christmas here, I put A Very She & Him Christmas on as soon as I woke up, I’ve made the Christmas list and bought what isn’t going to be handmade, I’ve made my list (more on that another time!), opened up the Maya Gold Green & Black’s, I’ve started a ‘food gifts’ folder on the laptop and have bought all the fabric I need for this year’s Christmas stockings. Lots more planning and scheming to be done my friends, lots more. Eep.

I’m going to be featuring some Christmas gift ideas for all purses and tastes on the blog over the coming months, as well as a few craft/recipe book reviews that might tempt you too! We all need a little help at Christmas I think!

So, this week’s post of the week comes from Meet Me at Mikes: 307 Handmade Christmas Gift Tutorials. Thank you Pip, you’ve saved us all a lot of bother! You’ll need a whole day off to go through them, but it’s great to get a bit of inspiration.

Here’s a few tutorials/recipes I’ve seen across the t’internet to get me/you started:

I'm determined to try make Macarons this year. A lovely gift for Christmas!
