Bookmarked: Mozzypop Satchels

I could never buy a Mulberry Alexa bag. I couldn’t justify it, let alone afford it. In fact I would rather book a holiday. But I am a fan of a good satchel and the Alexa design suits me down to the ground. While catching up on some blogs recently I noticed Mozzypop’s new satchel range – inspired by the Alexa design at only £29.95. What was that? Inspired by the Alexa? In super lovely colours including teal? And only £29.95? Yes, I’d much rather book a holiday and swing one of these around. The teal one, pretty please. Cue loveliness…

Bookmarked: Jeyo Side Tables

These Jeyo Side Tables had me in a flurry when the Graham and Graham newsletter dropped in my inbox.

The 50s inspired design along with the pretty coloured table top might just be ideal as a bedside friend. My current bedside situation compromises a small bookcase and the OH a wee cabinet – both handed down from the folks. I think these lovely side tables would be an investment into a grown up bedroom – whatever that might be! At £64 each, it would have to be a saver but definite food for thought.

My favourite would be the French Grey table made with the delightful  Shisham wood.

When did you begin to upgrade from hand-me-downs?

Bookmarked: Naturally European

The OH bought me a little treat at the weekend – a bottle of Naturally European Milk Shower Gel from The Yorkshire Soap Company in Hebden Bridge. Oo-er, it’s lovely it is. As a buyer of bath products that are usually on offer, I was a little excited by this lovely bottle, I’m a sucker for lovely packaging.

It’s also one of those products where a little goes a long way – a tiny squish and I was living it up in lather town. Their products are all Paraben and SLS free using only natural fragrances – the Milk fragrance is perfectly refreshing.

Their website is currently out of action but with a little digging you can purchase from various retailers across the UK and online (click on images for source).  I’m lucky that I can find their products on my doorstep!

To seal the deal Naturally European  also makes Verbena scented products – one of my favourites! Lovely jubbly!

Bookmarked: WRAP magazine

I like a multi functional product. In these strapped-for-cash times something that works hard for its price tag leaves me feeling satisfied. Ah *contented sigh*

WRAP, a magazine for reading and wrapping leaves my head spinning. I’m partial to cutting up magazines and newspaper to wrap up goodies and now someone has actually gone and made a product out of it! Clever clogs.

WRAP, priced £9.50, is a large format illustration and design magazine and is held together in a hard cover with a large elastic band and no staples, thus making it super easy to wrap up that box of chocolates you owe me. Joy!

However, I don’t want to take away from the very talented illustrators and designers involved in this magazine and would find this a great read to discover new and emerging talent from around the world.

P.S I would like to fully disclose that my boyfriend discovered this (otherwise I won’t hear the end of it!).

Bookmarked: Three Jelly Moulds and a Wardrobe

Following on from yesterday’s post (touching on purchasing online vintage clothing),  I thought we’d take a look at homewares. In particular, the new online vintage and secondhand store, Three Jelly Moulds and a Wardrobe.

This gem of a shop is the creation of Elizabeth of Rosalilium fame and includes an abundance of vintage treasures to fill your home and your basket. Once again the pieces are well priced so it’s a great alternative to braving this mad British weather at a car boot or market – Elizabeth will do it for you!

Elizabeth is currently having a giveaway (2nd blog birthday – go say hello and send balloons) to win a £25 voucher for Three Jelly Mould’s and a Wardrobe. Fancy a chance of winning? All you need to do is visit her blog and simply chose a favourite item from the shop then cross those fingers (not too much mind, I want to win!). I chose two (I’m a greedy mare); the Cross Stitched Linen Tray Cloth and Red Enamelware Coffee pot. What takes your fancy?
